Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • In a large bowl, combine the broccoli, cheddar cheese, breadcrumbs, beaten eggs, flour, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.
  • Scoop out portions of the mixture and roll them into tight balls.
  • Place the formed balls on the lined baking sheet, leaving space between each one.

Baking

  • Bake in the preheated oven for 18–20 minutes until golden brown and crisp.
  • Let them cool slightly before serving.

Notes

Blanching the broccoli can improve texture; consider mixing in different cheeses or adding spices for extra flavor. Serve with dipping sauces like ranch or marinara.
