Instructions

Preparation

  • Soak the shrimp in buttermilk for 15 minutes.
  • Prepare the sauce by mixing together mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, sriracha, and honey in a bowl. Chill in the refrigerator.
  • Make the slaw by combining the shredded cabbage and carrots in a bowl. In another bowl, whisk together rice vinegar, mayonnaise, honey, salt, and pepper. Pour over the veggies and mix well. Chill until serving.

Cooking

  • Prepare the shrimp by combining cornstarch, flour, salt, pepper, and paprika in a shallow dish. Dredge the soaked shrimp in this mixture, ensuring each piece is coated.
  • Heat the oil to 350°F (175°C) in a skillet. Fry the shrimp in batches for 2-3 minutes or until golden brown. Drain on paper towels.

Assembly
