Ingredients

Instructions

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 175°C (350°F).
  • Grease and line a loaf pan with parchment paper.
  • In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
  • In another bowl, mix the melted butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  • Gradually fold the dry mixture into the wet mixture until just combined.
  • Stir in the chocolate chips and any optional chopped dark chocolate.

Baking

  • Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top.
  • Bake for 40-50 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out with a few moist crumbs.
  • Let the brownie bread cool in the pan for about 10 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack to cool completely.
  • Slice thickly and serve.
