Ingredients

Main ingredients

  • 1 box brownie mix (18.4 oz, fudge-style preferred) Indulgent and full of chocolatey goodness.
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour To help create that perfect cookie texture.
  • 2 large eggs For binding the ingredients together and adding moisture.
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil Ensures each cookie stays soft and chewy.
  • 1 tbsp water Helps achieve the right consistency in the dough.
  • 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips Bursts of chocolate in every bite.
  • 1/2 cup milk chocolate chunks Sweetens the mix and adds gooeyness (plus extra for topping).

Instructions

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a large bowl, whisk together the brownie mix and flour until combined.
  • Add the eggs, oil, and water to the dry ingredients. Stir well until a thick dough forms.
  • Fold in the semi-sweet chocolate chips and milk chocolate chunks.
  • Use a cookie scoop or a spoon to portion out the dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  • Press a few extra chocolate chunks on top of each cookie.
  • Bake for 10 to 12 minutes or until the edges are set, but the centers remain soft.
  • Let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack.

Notes

For an extra layer of flavor, consider adding a pinch of sea salt before baking. Feel free to incorporate nuts, like walnuts or pecans, for added crunch and flavor diversity. If your dough is too thick, mix in a teaspoon of water at a time to reach desired consistency.
