Cereal Base

  • 3 cups Rice Chex cereal Provides a satisfying crunch
  • 2 cups mini pretzel sticks Adds a salty twist

  • 1 cup pastel-colored M&M’s (Easter mix) Brings color and delightful bite
  • 12 oz white chocolate chips or melting wafers Key for binding ingredients
  • 3 tbsp spring-themed sprinkles Adds visual appeal
  • 1 tbsp coconut oil Optional, for smoother melting

Instructions

Preparation

  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the Rice Chex, pretzel sticks, and Cheerios. Gently mix together so that all elements are evenly distributed.
  • In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the white chocolate chips with coconut oil (if using) in 30-second intervals, stirring between each until smooth.

Combining and Setting

  • Once melted, pour the chocolate over the cereal mixture and quickly toss everything together for even coverage.
  • While the chocolate is still wet, sprinkle in the pastel M&M’s and spring sprinkles, gently folding them in.
  • Spread the mixture onto a parchment-lined baking sheet in an even layer to cool.
  • Let it cool completely at room temperature or refrigerate for faster setting.
  • Once set, break the Bunny Bait into clusters and serve in bowls, jars, or colorful containers.

Notes

To store, keep in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week. For longer storage, freeze individual portions.
