Ingredients

For the strawberries

  • 18-20 large large fresh strawberries Juicy and vibrant, these will serve as the perfect vessels for your cheesecake filling.
  • 1 tsp lemon juice Optional: A touch of brightness that can enhance the flavor of the strawberries.

For the cheesecake filling

  • 225 g cream cheese, softened Rich and creamy, this will form the base of your cheesecake filling.
  • 60 g powdered sugar Sweetness that blends beautifully into the filling.
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract Aromatic and warm, it adds depth to the flavor profile.
  • 2 tbsp heavy cream or whipped topping For a smooth and luscious filling texture.

For the topping

  • 4 pieces golden Oreos (or vanilla sandwich cookies) Crunchy and sweet, they add a delightful contrast.
  • 2 pieces freeze-dried strawberries Or 1 tbsp strawberry powder for intense flavor.
  • 1 tsp melted butter To bind the crumb mixture together for a crispy topping.

Instructions

Preparation

  • Wash your fresh strawberries under cool water. Pat them dry and slice each strawberry in half lengthwise.
  • Using a small spoon or a melon baller, gently scoop out a small cavity from each half for the cheesecake filling.
  • Optionally, sprinkle a light amount of lemon juice on the insides of the strawberries.

Make the filling

  • In a mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until fluffy.
  • Gradually add in powdered sugar, vanilla extract, and heavy cream or whipped topping, whipping until smooth.
  • Transfer the filling to a piping bag or a zip-top bag with the corner snipped off.

Prepare the topping

  • Pulse golden Oreos and freeze-dried strawberries in a food processor until fine and crumbly.
  • Stir in the melted butter to help bind the crumbs.

Assembly

  • Pipe the cheesecake filling generously into each strawberry half without overflowing.
  • Sprinkle the crunchy topping over the filled strawberries and chill in the refrigerator for 15-30 minutes before serving.

Notes

For an extra flavor boost, add a pinch of cinnamon or cocoa powder to the cheesecake filling. Use low-fat cream cheese for a lighter option.
