Ingredients

Jello Base

Fruit Ingredients

  • 1 can (14 oz) whole cranberry sauce Provides a rich, tangy flavor.
  • 1 can (8 oz) crushed pineapple, drained Adds a tropical sweetness.
  • 1 cup chopped apples Crisp and refreshing, adds crunch.

Nuts

  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans or walnuts Offers a nutty flavor and crunchy texture.

Instructions

Preparation

  • In a large bowl, add the cherry Jello to the boiling water and stir until fully dissolved, about 2 minutes.
  • Mix in the cold water and let it cool slightly, about 5 minutes.
  • Fold in the whole cranberry sauce, breaking up any large chunks as you mix.
  • Add the crushed pineapple, chopped apples, and chopped nuts, stirring well to distribute evenly.
  • Pour the mixture into a glass serving dish or mold.

Setting

  • Cover and refrigerate for a minimum of 4 hours or until fully set.
  • Serve chilled, optionally garnished with a dollop of whipped cream or extra nuts.

Notes

For added flavor, consider adding a hint of cinnamon or nutmeg. Substitute fruits as desired, and to cool the mixture faster, place the bowl in ice water.
