Instructions

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  • Spread 1 1⁄4 cups of uncooked long-grain rice evenly in an 8×8-inch baking dish.
  • Pour 1 can of beef broth and 1 can of French onion soup over the rice.
  • Place sliced pats of cold butter over the rice.

Cooking

  • Cover the baking dish tightly with aluminum foil and bake for 25 minutes.
  • Uncover the dish and bake for an additional 25 minutes until the rice is golden and tender.
