Ingredients

For the filling

For the ciabatta

  • 1 large ciabatta loaf, sliced lengthwise The perfect vessel for your filling.

Instructions

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a skillet over medium heat, melt the tablespoon of butter until bubbly.
  • Add cooked shrimp along with Old Bay seasoning and cook for 1–2 minutes, tossing gently.
  • Remove the skillet from heat and transfer shrimp into a mixing bowl.
  • Add mayonnaise, minced garlic, chopped dill, chives, shredded cheese, and salt and pepper. Combine everything thoroughly.
  • Slice the ciabatta loaf lengthwise and spread the shrimp and cheese mixture over both halves.

Baking

  • Place the ciabatta halves on a baking sheet and bake for 10–13 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and slightly browned.
  • Remove from oven and allow to cool slightly before slicing.

Serving

  • Slice into sticks and serve warm.

Notes

Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container for up to two days in the refrigerator. Freeze unbaked ciabatta halves for up to a month. Reheat by baking at 350°F for 15–20 minutes.
