Instructions

Preparation

  • In a large bowl, mix the chicken wings with olive oil, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, dried thyme, black pepper, salt, and optional lemon juice. Ensure each wing is well-coated and let it marinate for at least 20 minutes.
  • While the wings are marinating, preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Toss the fresh broccoli florets and sliced carrots in a bowl with a tablespoon of olive oil, salt, and black pepper.

Cooking

  • Spread the seasoned broccoli and carrots on one baking sheet, and place the marinated chicken wings on a separate baking sheet. Bake both trays in the oven for about 25-30 minutes, flipping the wings halfway through.
  • As the wings and vegetables bake, prepare your white rice following package instructions.

Serving

  • Once everything is cooked, serve the juicy grilled chicken wings alongside the roasted broccoli and carrots, plated over a bed of fluffy rice.

Notes

Marinate the wings longer for more flavor. For extra crunch, broil the wings for the last few minutes. Feel free to substitute vegetables.
