Instructions

Preparation

  • Pour the extra virgin olive oil into a shallow bowl to serve as the base.
  • Stir in the freshly chopped parsley, oregano or thyme, minced garlic, black pepper, and red pepper flakes, if using.
  • Gently mix in the crumbled feta cheese and halved olives, being careful not to break the feta too much.
  • Sprinkle in the lemon zest.
  • Let the dip rest at room temperature for 10 to 15 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
