Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 12 oz jumbo pasta shells
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/2 cup chopped green onions
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil or butter
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce (non-alcoholic)
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste

Instructions

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Cook the jumbo pasta shells according to the package directions until they’re al dente. Once done, drain them and set aside.
  • In a large skillet over medium heat, add vegetable oil or butter. Allow it to warm, then add minced garlic. Sauté for 1–2 minutes until fragrant but not browned.
  • Add the peeled and deveined shrimp to the skillet. Pour in the honey, soy sauce, and season with salt and black pepper. Cook for about 3–4 minutes, or until the shrimp turn pink.
  • Stir in the heavy cream and half of the shredded mozzarella cheese. Keep stirring until the cheese melts into the sauce.
  • In a large baking dish, mix the cooked pasta shells with the shrimp sauce, ensuring each shell is coated.
  • Top with the remaining mozzarella cheese and sprinkle with chopped green onions.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 20–25 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown.
  • Allow to cool slightly before serving.

Notes

For an extra flavor boost, consider marinating the shrimp in the honey and soy sauce for 30 minutes before cooking. Add red pepper flakes for heat and fresh herbs for a pop of color.
