Ingredients

For the crust

  • 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 6 tbsp melted butter
  • 2 tbsp sugar

For the filling

  • 1 box (3 oz) orange Jello
  • 2/3 cup boiling water
  • 1/3 cup cold water
  • 1 package (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
  • 1 tub (8 oz) whipped topping (like Cool Whip), thawed
  • Zest of 1 orange (optional, for extra flavor)

For decoration

  • Orange slices or wedges (for topping)
  • Extra whipped cream (for topping)

Instructions

Preparation

  • In a medium-sized mixing bowl, combine the graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, and sugar. Mix until combined and resembles wet sand. Press into a 9-inch pie dish and chill in the fridge.
  • In another bowl, stir orange Jello with boiling water until fully dissolved. Add cold water and mix well. Allow to cool for 10 to 15 minutes.
  • In a separate bowl, beat cream cheese until smooth and creamy. Gradually pour in cooled Jello and mix until fully blended. Fold in the thawed whipped topping and orange zest if using.

Assembly

  • Pour the creamy filling into the chilled graham cracker crust. Smooth the top evenly, cover with plastic wrap, and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or until set.
  • Before serving, top with swirls of whipped cream and orange slices or wedges.

Notes

Chill mixing tools for fluffier cream. Add a splash of vanilla extract for more flavor. Try different Jello flavors for variety.
