Ingredients

For the Herb Butter

For the Steaks

Instructions

Make the Herb Butter

  • In a medium-sized bowl, combine softened unsalted butter, chopped parsley, thyme, rosemary, minced garlic, lemon juice, and a pinch of salt and black pepper. Mix until well incorporated.
  • Transfer the mixture onto a piece of plastic wrap, shape it into a log and wrap tightly. Chill in the refrigerator until firm—approximately 1 hour.

Prep the Steaks

  • Bring T-bone steaks to room temperature by letting them sit out for about 30 minutes.
  • Generously season both sides of the steaks with salt and black pepper. Drizzle with olive oil and rub into the surface.

Cook the Steaks

  • Heat your grill or a cast-iron skillet to high heat.
  • Once hot, carefully place the seasoned steaks onto the grill or skillet. Cook for 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare.

Add the Herb Butter

  • After cooking, remove the steaks and place them on a cutting board. Slice pieces of the chilled herb butter and place on top of each steak. Allow to rest for a few minutes.

Serve

  • Slice the steaks and serve alongside your favorite sides.
