Ingredients

Instructions

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 325°F (163°C). Grease a 9-inch springform pan.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine Oreo crumbs with melted butter and press firmly into the bottom of the pan. Bake for 10 minutes, then let cool.

Make Cheesecake Filling

  • Beat the softened cream cheese until smooth. Gradually add sugar, then stir in sour cream and vanilla extract. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each. Finally, mix in matcha powder and fold in crushed Oreos.

Create Matcha Swirl

  • In a small bowl, whisk together matcha powder, sugar, and hot water until smooth.

Combine Layers

  • Pour the cheesecake batter into the cooled crust. Drizzle matcha swirl on top and use a toothpick to create swirls.

Bake and Chill

  • Bake for 60-70 minutes until the center is set. Turn off the oven and let cool inside with the door ajar for about 1 hour.
  • Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight before removing from the pan.

Decorate and Serve

  • Decorate with whipped cream, matcha powder, and Oreo cookies before serving.
