Instructions

Preparation

  • Season the chicken thighs generously with salt, black pepper, and smoked paprika.

Cooking

  • Sear the chicken for 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through, then remove and set aside.
  • Add chicken broth, scraping up browning bits, then stir in heavy cream, Parmesan cheese, Dijon mustard, Italian seasoning, and red pepper flakes. Let simmer for 2-3 minutes.
  • While the sauce simmers, boil the egg noodles according to package instructions. Once al dente, drain and toss with butter and chopped parsley.
  • Return the chicken to the pan, spooning sauce over top. Simmer for another 5 minutes, then serve the chicken over the noodles, garnished with extra Parmesan and parsley.
