Instructions

Preparation

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9×13-inch baking pan.
  • In a large bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, granulated sugar, baking soda, and salt.
  • Add the crushed pineapple, shredded coconut, vegetable oil, eggs, and vanilla extract to your dry mixture. Mix until well combined.
  • Gently pour the batter into the prepared pan and spread it evenly.

Baking

  • Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean when inserted into the center.

Frosting

  • In a mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese and butter until smooth.
