Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • 3 large large ripe peaches, peeled, pitted, and sliced
  • 1 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice (about 4–6 lemons)
  • 1/2 cup honey or sugar (adjust to taste)
  • 4 cups cold water
  • 1 cup ice cubes
  • lemon and peach slices for garnish

Instructions

Preparation

  • In a saucepan, combine the sliced peaches with 1/2 cup of water. Allow the mixture to simmer for 8–10 minutes until the peaches become soft and syrupy.
  • Once the peaches have cooled slightly, blend them until smooth. For a silky texture, strain the puree through a fine mesh sieve.
  • In a large pitcher, combine the peach puree, freshly squeezed lemon juice, and your choice of honey or sugar. Stir until fully dissolved.
  • Stir in the remaining 4 cups of cold water and plenty of ice. Taste and adjust the sweetness if needed.
  • Pour the lemonade into glasses and garnish with fresh peach and lemon slices.

Notes

For an extra burst of flavor, consider adding fresh mint leaves. A splash of soda water just before serving can add a fizzy twist. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
