Instructions

Preparation

  • Pat the block of feta dry with paper towels to ensure a good sear.

Searing

  • Heat olive oil in a small cast iron or oven-safe skillet over medium heat. Sear the feta for 2–3 minutes on each side until golden and crispy.

Making the Glaze

  • Mix honey, chili crisp, vinegar, smoked paprika, and optional red pepper flakes in a bowl until well combined.

Glazing the Feta

  • Pour the glaze over the feta in the skillet, tilting the pan to coat evenly.

Simmering

  • Simmer for an additional 2–3 minutes to let the glaze thicken.

Serving

  • Serve hot with garnished herbs and alongside crusty bread or flatbread.
