Ingredients

Instructions

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly spray a 12-cup muffin tin with cooking spray.
  • Warm the tortillas slightly in the microwave or on a skillet. Use a round cutter to cut out 4-inch wide circles, pressing each into the muffin cups.

Cooking the Filling

  • In a skillet over medium heat, heat the olive oil and add the ground beef or turkey. Cook until browned, then drain excess fat.
  • Stir in the taco seasoning, tomato sauce, and water, allowing it to simmer for 3-4 minutes until thickened.

Assembly and Baking

  • Spoon 2-3 tablespoons of the prepared taco meat into each tortilla shell, generously filling them.
  • Sprinkle with shredded cheddar cheese.
  • Place the muffin tin in the oven and bake for 10-12 minutes, or until edges are golden and the cheese is melted.

Garnishing
